Heritage tree

One focus of the original development plan was to save as many mature trees on site as possible. This Oak was identified during the planning process, and set aside in a small area of protected open space. While the construction process and the required cut and placement of the retaining wall compromised the health of the tree, it has remained alive although in somewhat compromised condition.
