Approved plan for the Kentlands development.

Kentlands was one of the first communities to be developed using neo-traditional design concepts, now termed "New Urbanism." Joe Alfandre, the developer, teamed with planner/designers Elizabeth Plater-Zyberk and Andres Duany of the planning from DPZ. A charrette was held in June 1988, and resulted in the development of this plan, approved by the city. The plan has been rotated to place it in a north-south alignment consistent with the other maps in the series.
